The Electriq 12000 with heat pump is a sensible year-round investment for UK homes. You get genuine cooling power for summer and supplemental heating for cooler months. The A energy class is impressive for a 12000 BTU unit. Wifi connectivity via the app adds convenience, though initial setup can be fiddly. The shorter exhaust hose is a minor inconvenience.
