Full Review

When a heatwave hits and you need serious cooling power, the Whynter ARC-14S delivers. Its dual-hose design is far more efficient than single-hose competitors at this BTU level. The auto-drain feature reduces the need for manual water tank emptying. At 56 dB it's noticeably louder than bedroom-focused models, making it better suited to living rooms and open-plan spaces where ambient noise masks the unit. The B energy class means higher running costs, but for large rooms there's no comparable alternative at this price point.
